What is the Kundalini and How to Raise it
December 12th, 2011 § 3 Comments
The word “Kundalini” comes from Sanskrit and means “coiled.” Kundalini is a universal energy that lies coiled (like a snake) at the base of the spine.
In Eastern tradition there are methods to forcefully raise the Kundalini, however, one should refrain from such practices at all cost as following such techniques could create massive damage in the nervous system to the point of going insane!
The Integrated Ascended Master realizes that the Kundalini rises naturally as a byproduct of developing one’s consciousness. It is a byproduct of meditation, self-introspection, self-inquiry, prayer, and integrated ascension.

In my experiences with yoga through breath, mantra, asana, and meditation, the channels that allow the flow the kundalini can be opened in a safe manner. There are many traditions in the East that safely harness this technology without force. In traditional practice, rarely is the rise Kundalini approached with disregard to spiritual sustainability.
Thanks…
I was just asking myself a few days ago, what does Kundalini really mean? and here it is synchronicity….
What techniques are you reffering to here exactly that are dangerous – kundalini or kriya yoga?
I think it is a bit of a general statement. I think so long as you take it slowly and within your limits you will be ok. Also so long as you have worked on spiritual purification and opening up the chakras first then I believe this even more. At the end of the day won’t our monad or higher self just stop the activity as natuire intended when we start doing to much for ourselves – this is my understanding and experience
